WestCal Academy® career pathway speakers are private and public sector industry leaders, who connect students with exciting career opportunities. This program is a strategic partnership with the instructor of record that allows WestCal Academy® to custom tailor presentations according to the course subject. Students have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities that relate to their field of major. This program is available for single and multi-subject classrooms, as well as a workshop format that draws students from across the campus. The WestCal® Career Pathway Program helps meet the need for satisfying career pathway requirements, commonly known as “Pathways” to help assure that curriculum addresses career relevancy. Career pathway relevancy is a requirement for all public and private high schools that utilize Common Core curriculum.
